AngeLink Community Foundation’s 6 Pillars of Giving are unrestricted donations that support our thoughtfully curated core areas of focus. Through partnerships with other nonprofits, we nurture the spirit of female empowerment to achieve global economic parity for women.
It’s the 21st century, isn’t the playing field even by now? Not exactly. According to the United Nations, only 8 countries give women equal work rights compared to men—and the U.S. isn’t one of them.
AngeLink Community Foundation is tackling gender bias by supporting strategic initiatives and fighting for women’s work rights in the 187 countries that are still catching up.
Securing capital is the hardest part of starting a business and the odds are wildly stacked against women. In 2020, female entrepreneurs received less than 3% of all venture capital funding in the United States.
And that’s just wrong.
Through our grants, we fund brilliant women with clever, fresh ideas. Help us support the women turning social impact into social innovation. Let’s show the world what we can do.
1 in 5 children growing up in the U.S. today are being raised by a single mother—often the head of the household and sole breadwinner for her family.
Women represent the majority of the homeless population in the United States. The horrible truth is that over 90% of these women report that they’ve been the victim of physical and/or sexual abuse.
Women represent the highest percentage of the lowest paying jobs and make up less than 25% of the U.S. workforce in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
We’re committed to giving women more access to educational resources and development opportunities to encourage young women to pursue careers in STEM.
It’s time that we see more female engineers, coders, scientists and mathematicians with two x chromosomes.
Women of nearly all races and ethnicities face higher rates of poverty than men. In the U.S. alone, there are 24 million women living in poverty. Around the globe there’s hundreds of millions more.
Minority women and women of color represent the highest number of those living below the federal poverty line. We’re on a mission to fight racism and sexism and to help the marginalized and underrepresented.
Women have the highest percentage of lowest wage jobs without healthcare benefits. 1 in 5 women struggle with mental health, and the numbers are climbing.
To help change these statistics, we support women’s health and wellness programs and fund medical research to find cures that can eradicate diseases which predominantly affect women.
We collaborate with other nonprofits who are making a difference to support and empower women. If your charity aligns with one or more of our 6 Pillars of Giving, you can apply to receive a grant. We’d love to hear from you!
